Stephen Colbert revealed in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, that he was diagnosed with benign positional vertigo. This form of vertigo is common and can cause nausea, dizziness and loss of equilibrium when the head position is incorrect.
Stephen said that he forgets the condition often until it affects him. He said that it is entertaining, until he forgets about it and falls when he attempts to stand up.

What is Stephen Colbert all about?
Stephen Tyrone Colbert, an American multi-talented personality, is known for his work in the fields of comedy, writing, producing, political commentary, acting, and TV hosting. He was born in May 1964.
Colbert initially aspired towards a career as a dramatic actor, but developed a passion for improvisational theatre while studying at Northwestern University. It was there that he met Del Close the director of Second City. Colbert’s career was launched when he understudied Steve Carell at Second City Chicago.
Later, he collaborated with Paul Dinello & Amy Sedaris in the sketch comedy show Exit 57. Colbert wrote and performed for The Dana Carvey Show, before he landed his breakout role on Strangers with Candy as Chuck Noblet, an openly gay history teacher.
Stephen Colbert has hosted The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on CBS since September 2015, and he previously hosted the Comedy Central satirical program The Colbert Report.
