Allison Rodriguez: Who is she?
Allison Rodriguez is an American journalist with a lot of talent. She currently works as a multimedia journalist and anchor at 12 News. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Columbia College Chicago. Her parents taught her to value community and pride in your roots. She joined the ABC15 team again and began to cover important events in Arizona. These included the impact of the pandemic coronavirus along the southern border, and two visits from U.S. president Donald Trump.
Rodriguez worked as a reporter at KTVU Fox 2 Oakland in California before joining ABC15. During her time at KTVU Fox 2, she was assigned important assignments, including reporting on PG&E’s widespread power outages, devastating wildfires and the San Francisco 49ers’ Super Bowl run.

12 News announced on their website that Allison Rodriguez had found a new home. She will be joining the Phoenix station on May 15 as a coanchor of the morning show “Today in AZ.” Rodriguez will work alongside Emily Pritchard who joined 12News 2022. Krystle henderson will continue with weather reports, while Stella Sun is responsible for traffic updates.
Rodriguez announced her departure on Friday on air and on Facebook. She wrote on Facebook: “After 10 wonderful years, this chapter at ABC15/CW61 will close.” “Today is the last day.” In my time here, I have grown both personally and professionally. “To the viewers who shared with me some of their most difficult moments, but also your greatest triumphs, I thank you for letting me be a part of your lives.”
Rodriguez shared her excitement and happiness on Facebook. She also informed her followers of the news and expressed her joy at the opportunity to stay in the same region and continue to share stories with her audience. Rodriguez was previously an anchor and reporter for ABC15/CW61 Phoenix, after spending two year in Yuma. She briefly left Phoenix in August 2019 for KTVU, Oakland in California. However, she returned to the Phoenix market early in 2020 to coanchor “ABC15 Mornings” on CW61. This is an expanded version “ABC15 Mornings”.

Allison Rodriguez became a member of the Today in AZ Team in 2023. She has a 12-year career and is well-known to Arizonans. Rodriguez began her journalism career as an anchor in Yuma and a reporter, covering a variety of stories that crossed state and international boundaries.
In 2013, Rodriguez relocated to Phoenix, Arizona and joined ABC15. Mornings played an important role in her career. She began her career in Phoenix as a weekend morning anchor, and then moved on to report and anchor ABC15 Mornings during the weekdays. She was raised in Chicago with her three siblings. Rodriguez and her spouse now call the Valley home. She studied Journalism at Columbia College Chicago.
She briefly left the sun in 2019 when she moved to the Bay Area. During this time, she covered and anchored major stories like the PG&E shut-offs and wildfires. In early 2020, Rodriguez will return to Arizona to cover communities from the Navajo Nation up to the Mexico border. She has developed deep relationships with the residents of Arizona, and she is excited to share their stories on 12News.

Allison Rodriguez and her husband Kevin are happily married after exchanging vows in December of 2019. The couple lives in Phoenix, Arizona. She enjoys spending time with her husband and family via video chats, as well as watching movies. She is incredibly lucky to be able to call Arizona home and her family will visit her in the winter.
Rodriguez is a private person and prefers not to disclose her personal life. Therefore, at this point, she will not reveal whether or no children are in her family. We will provide any updates as soon as they become available. The salary of Rodriguez is estimated between $70,000 to $125,000.
