He is the son of famous Hollywood Executive Sam Haskell Sr., an Emmy-winning producer of renown, Samuel Jr. has been in the world of entertainment as a producer and director. Samuel Haskell Jr. was recently detained after a dismembered body believed to belong to his wife of 37 years, Mei Haskell, was found in a dumpster near Ventura Boulevard and Rubio Avenue. There were three kids in the couple and Mei’s parents Yanxiang Wang as well as Gaoshen Li, are currently missing. Although initial investigations did not yield evidence that allowed access to the house and subsequent investigation, the discovery of the dismembered body in a garbage bin and surveillance footage led police to Haskell. Evidence of blood in Haskell’s home also implicated him in the possibility of homicide. the case has attracted attention because of Haskell’s family connections to the field of entertainment and the mystery of the disappearances of Mei and her parents.
