Rashid Ali Bynum, according to reports, was arrested on May 30, 2023. He was not known until the police apprehended him. Rashid Ali Bynum was also on the run after he is alleged to have shot Eunice Dwumfour outside her house on February 1, 2023. Both the church leader, and the councilwoman, were killed outside the home. A man shot multiple times at her while she was driving her SUV. Rashid Ali Bynum was charged with murder in the first degree and separate charges of firearms. Authorities claim that Eunice Dwumfour, Rashid Ali Bynum and their church were all connected. It is not yet known why the shooter chose to kill her. The police recovered security footage that showed a gunman firing openly at Eunice Dwumfour’s car outside of her home.
