Makhadzi Career
Makhadzi began her musical journey at the age of 13 when she started performing at taxi stands to earn money. She joined the Makhirikhiri musical group in 2010 as a dancer. She then focused her career on music and released three independent studio albums, including “Muvhango”, “Ndo Tshinya Ni? After leaving dancing, she focused on her music career and independently released three studio albums: “Muvhango” (2009), “Ndo Tshinya Ni?” (2011), and ‘Litshani u Ntsala Murahu’ (2012).
Her fourth studio album, “Rita Dee”, was released in December 2014. In 2015, Makhadzi was noticed by Rita Dee Entertainment. This led to her signing a recording deal and the release “Muhwalo Uya Ndemela.” Her album “Yo Shoma”, released in 2017, won the awards for Best Female Act and Tshivenda Best at Fame South African music Awards.
