John Boyd leaving FBI?
No official confirmation has been made regarding the departure of FBI character Scola, or John Boyd who plays him. Some fans speculated on Scola’s fate in the show, after Nina Chase announced that she was pregnant with his child during Season 5, Episode 6 “Double Bind.”
In the episode, Nina tells Scola, in an elevator, that she’s pregnant and he’s the father. Nina then announces that she will be leaving the criminal division and joining the white-collar section.
Nina says she needs some time to think things through. Scola asks her why she’s really leaving. Nina is unsure about the baby when Scola asks. The fans are left wondering what is going to happen with Scola and Nina’s relationship, and whether the storyline of their show will continue.
Who plays Stuart Scola in FBI?
John Boyd plays Scola on FBI. He joined the series as a regular during Season 2. Boyd also appeared in TV shows such as The Carrie Diaries, Touch, Suits, 24 Fringe, Law & Order, and Law & Order, playing two different roles between 2005-2006.
Boyd also acted in films such as Argo, Mercy, and Peppermint. Boyd spoke about Scola’s father in an April 2023 interview with Cinema Blend.
