Born on the 23rd of May in 1987. Windham Lawrence was born in Brooksville, Florida. His brother, Taylor, is also famous in the world of wrestling and is recognized for his Ring name Bo Dallas in WWE. Windham was a student at Hernando High School, where the wrestler won a state championship weighing a whopping 277 lbs (125 kilograms) during 2005. This was the year when he was awarded his diploma. His athleticism was evident on the football field in which he dominated as a guard and defensive tackle.
Then, he took his talents into his home at the College of the Sequoias, Windham was a part of the college for two years and was recognized as an second-team All-American in the second year of his career as an offensive guard in the California junior school. His skills brought him a scholarship to play football from Troy University, where he was a major player in the football field of college over two years.
Even though he was just 27 credits closer to completing his bachelor’s program, Windham determined to change his course of study and take on a career as a professional wrestler. This left the studies in Troy University unfinished.
Terry Funk Early Life
The 30th of June 1944 on June 30, 1944, in Hammond, Indiana, Funk made his debut in the world of wrestling. Parents, Dorothy (Culver) and Dory Funk, were associated with the sport of professional wrestling while his father served as a promoter and wrestler.
Following the end in World War II, the family moved into Amarillo, Texas, becoming an integral part of the world of professional wrestling there. Terry along with his older brother, called Dory Jr. was a part of their early years immersed in the business. When they graduated from the high school level, Funk took his education to West Texas State University (now West Texas A&M University) and was involved in amateur wrestling and football.
