Quinn Tucker Ewers spent his childhood at Southlake, Texas, where he was a student at Carroll Senior High School. While there Ewers not only excelled in football under the coach Riley Dodge, but also was a baseball player.
In his sophomore year, Ewers showcased his football talent by completing 291 of 402 passes, resulting in 3,998 yards. He also scored 45 touchdowns, with only three interceptions. His talents led Southlake Carroll all the way to Texas 6A Division I quarterfinals but they were beaten by Duncanville.
Despite suffering a setback to his injury during his junior year, Ewers nevertheless managed to score 28,422 passing yards and 2,442 touchdowns across eight games in the 6A Division I Texas State Championship Game but ultimately lost against Westlake High School.
