In a press release, the authorities stated that they found a man with at least one bullet wound on the parking lot of the nightclub at 8801 N. Milwaukee Ave. They immediately began life-saving procedures.

Mark Asber was transported by the Niles Fire Department to a hospital nearby, where he later died.

According to the police report of Monday, Mark H. Asber (22), of Niles’ Wisner street, has been identified.

Officials have also revealed that detectives from Niles are working with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office on the case. Asber was known to the shooter prior to the incident.

Alan J. Kettina is Arrested and Charged

Alan Kettina of Salem Walk was accused of first-degree murder. The Cook County Sheriff’s office confirmed that Kettina worked as a corrections officers at the time.
