Larry Isenberg passed peacefully away. He was a resident of Williamsburg, Tyrone and a loved one. He was born March 1, 1950 to Robert Isenberg, who died in 2004, and Elizabeth (Shawley) Keithley. Larry will always be remembered fondly by his daughters Wendy Isenberg from Tyrone, and Patricia White from South Carolina. He was the proud grandfather of his beloved grandson Milo White. Larry is survived by his sister Beth Clarr, Nancy DeFrancesco and brother Tim Isenberg. He also has several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

William Shawley also mourns his death. Larry graduated in 1968 from Williamsburg High School. He spent his entire career at PPG where he shared his passion and skills until he retired in 2008. Larry was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, and held a very special place in the community. He was a talented videographer and captured many precious moments during weddings, sporting events and other local and state-wide events.

Larry Isenberg, his 14-year-old wife Lori Isenberg and a friend were sailing on Lake Coeur d’Alene when he died of an apparent drowning. As the investigation continued, it became clear that Lori Isenberg actually killed and drugged him, before disposing his body in Lake Coeur d’Alene. The search crews took a full month to find Larry Isenberg’s corpse in Lake Coeur d’Alene.

Autopsy results revealed that Lori Isenberg had administered him an antihistamine, which caused his death. Lori Isenberg, after extensive investigations was found guilty of the murder of her husband and sentenced to a life term in prison. The unusual circumstances surrounding Larry Isenberg’s death attracted a lot of attention.

Larry Isenberg’s son, from a prior marriage, was also shocked. Dean Isenberg stated that Lori and Larry appeared to have a very harmonious marriage.
